EQUALITY NEW MEXICO & ALBUQUERQUE ROADRUNNERS ANNOUNCE OUT AND PROUD 5K RUN AND WALK
Equality New Mexico, statewide LGBTQ advocacy organization, and Albuquerque Roadrunners are excited to announce the Out & Proud 5k Run and Walk for National Coming Out Day. The 5k is set to be one of the largest National Coming Out Day celebrations across New Mexico.
The 5k is welcome to runners, walkers, and even folks who just want to come out and support the cause. The goal of the 5k is not only to raise money for LGBTQ advocacy and educational work, but will also give New Mexicans a fun and inclusive space to celebrate National Coming Out Day.

National Coming Out Day isn’t just an awareness day, it’s an acknowledgement of who we are and how far we’ve come. The 5k will take place on October 11th beginning at the Albuquerque Social Club in Nob Hill and ending with a block party at Albuquerque Social Club. The Albuquerque Roadrunners and Equality New Mexico are excited to invite the community to join the 5k and support LGBTQ advocacy and education in New Mexico.
